Cancellation policy

Last updated: [insert date]

This policy explains how our recurring "Subscribe & Save" purchase options work, and how to cancel, pause, or amend them. It sits alongside our [Refund & Returns Policy] and does not affect your statutory rights.

1. How Purchase Options Work

When you choose a subscription ("Purchase Option") on a product, you're agreeing to receive that item automatically on a recurring basis (e.g. every 2 or 4 weeks, as selected at checkout) until you cancel, pause, or amend it.

  • Your payment method is charged automatically on or shortly before each dispatch date.
  • You'll receive an email reminder [insert number, e.g. 3 days] before each upcoming charge, giving you the opportunity to skip, pause, or cancel before it processes.
  • Subscription pricing and any discount applied at sign-up (e.g. "Subscribe & Save") applies for as long as the subscription remains active, unless we notify you of a price change in advance.

2. Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time, with no cancellation fee and no minimum commitment period, by:

  • Logging into your account at goodvibescoffee.co.uk and managing your subscription directly, or
  • Emailing us at [insert email] with your name and order/subscription reference.

When cancellation takes effect:

  • If you cancel before an order has been processed for the next cycle, no further charge will be taken and no further deliveries will be sent.
  • If you cancel after that cycle's payment has already been taken and the order is being prepared or has been despatched, that delivery will still be sent (since coffee is a perishable item prepared to order — see our Refund Policy for why despatched coffee isn't eligible for change-of-mind refunds), and your subscription will then end from the following cycle.

There's no obligation to give a reason for cancelling, and cancelling one subscription doesn't affect any other active subscriptions or one-off orders on your account.

3. Pausing or Skipping a Delivery

If you just want a break rather than cancelling outright, you can pause your subscription or skip an individual delivery via your account at any time before the next processing date. Paused subscriptions can be resumed whenever you're ready, and your existing pricing is retained.

4. Amending Your Subscription

You can change the following at any time via your account, and changes apply from your next scheduled order:

  • Delivery frequency
  • Coffee selection / grind type
  • Quantity
  • Delivery address
  • Payment method

Changes made after a billing cycle has already processed will take effect from the following delivery.

5. Failed Payments

If a scheduled subscription payment fails (e.g. expired card), we'll attempt to notify you by email and may retry the payment. If payment cannot be taken after a reasonable number of attempts, your subscription may be automatically paused or cancelled until you update your payment details.

6. Your Right to Cancel Under UK Distance Selling Law

The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you a 14-day right to cancel a distance contract, including the first order under a new subscription. As with our one-off orders, once your coffee has been despatched this right doesn't apply to that shipment, for the food-hygiene and perishable-goods reasons set out in our Refund & Returns Policy — but you remain free to cancel the ongoing subscription itself at any time as set out in Section 2 above, with no fee and no notice period.

This is separate from, and doesn't limit, your right to a replacement or refund if any individual delivery arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect (see Section 2 of our Refund & Returns Policy).
